Cast announced for the Royal Court's New and Now at Edinburgh International Festival.

Casting has been announced for the Royal Court’s, New and Now, a series of international readings that form part of Spirit of ’47.

Spirit of ’47 is a a co-curated programme celebrating international cultural collaboration at Edinburgh Festival.

The New and Now series of play readings have been developed through the Royal Court’s International Playwrights’ Programme and form part of Spirit of ’47, a 70th anniversary collaboration between the British Council & the Edinburgh International Festival. They will be directed by Royal Court Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone and Royal Court Associate Directors John Tiffany, Lucy Morrison and Sam Pritchard. Writers include Natal’ya Vorozhbit from Ukraine, Zhu Yi from China, Guillermo Calderón from Chile, Dalia Taha from Palestine, Maya Zbib from Lebanon and Laura Liz Gil Echenique from Cuba.

All Royal Court readings will be performed at The Studio on Potterrow.
