As Choreographer, Dance includes: Pillars of Trust, Sacred Space, Kokuma, Invocation, Indlela (Dance Umbrella Festival); Ubuntu Bam (ACE Dance & Music Company); Umnikelo (Triple Dose); Dominion (Vuyani Season); Makwande (Kuopio Dance Festival, Finland); Siva (National Arts Festival).
Awards include: Award for Most Outstanding Dancer in Contemporary Style (FNB Dance Umbrella Festival); Decade Award for Best Contemporary Dancer (Gauteng Dance Manyano) Standard Bank Young Award for Choreography.
Luyanda co-founded the Luthando Arts Academy for which he still works as a consultant, choreographer & teacher, & is currently the Artistic Director at Vuyani Dance Theatre. Luyanda also has danced internationally for the MIDM Company. He was dance captain for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Opening Concert.
