Aoife Delaney

This is my front door at my home in Dublin where I am currently staying.

I wanted to become a Young Agitator as I’m passionate about theatre as an emotive tool which engages and challenges everybody exposed to it. I believe it allows us to become more empathetic to experiences and points of view that we might not necessarily hear frequently. I’m looking forward to gaining a deeper insight into the work of the Royal Court and all that goes on within the theatre. I am excited about coming together with fellow Agitators to discover what theatre means to other young people and how we can develop our skills and support each other’s ideas throughout the programme.

At the moment I am finding joy in taking each day as it comes and finally making the time to read all the unfinished books that I had started months ago.
