Omnibus in Clapham announced winner of Peter Brook / Royal Court Theatre Support Award

Omnibus was awarded the Peter Brook/Royal Court Theatre Support Award. This was announced this week during the Peter Brook Awards at the National Theatre Studio. As part of the prize Omnibus will receive a year of support and expertise from the Royal Court.

Royal Court artistic director Vicky Featherstone was one of the judges. Other judges included Peter Wilson (Producer of The Woman in Black), Thelma Holt (West End Producer), Emily McLaughlin (Head of New Work, National Theatre Studio) and Blanche Marvin (founder of the awards).

Other winners of the night included the New Diorama Theatre which won the Empty Space category, Good Chance which won the Dan Crawford innovation award and Gecko which won the Ensemble award.
