Royal Court productions nominated for Whats On Stage Awards 2025

This morning, Whats On Stage announced the nominees for their annual awards, below are the five Royal Court nominations.

Bluets by Maggie Nelson, adapted for the stage by Margaret Perry, directed by Katie Mitchell has been nominated for Best Video Design (Grant Gee and Ellie Thompson). Bluets ran in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from Friday 17 May until Sat 29 June 2024.

Giant by Mark Rosenblatt, directed by Nicholas Hytner has been nominated for Best New Play and Best Supporting Performer in a Play (Romala Garai). Giant ran in the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from Friday 20 September until Saturday 16 November 2024.

BRACE BRACE by Oli Forsyth and directed by Daniel Raggett has been nominated for Best Off-West End Production and Best Sound Design (Paul Arditti). BRACE BRACE ran in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs from Thursday 3 Oct – Saturday 9 November 2024.

The winners will be announced on Sunday 9 February 2025 at The London Palladium.
