Royal Court Theatre Receives Four 2018 Olivier Awards

The Royal Court has received four 2018 Olivier Awards.

The Ferryman won Best New Play, Best Director and Best ActressIt is written by Jez Butterworth and directed by Sam Mendes. The Ferryman is a co-production between Royal Court Theatre Productions, Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street Productions. It became the fastest selling show in the Royal Court’s history and is now running at the Gielgud Theatre until 19 May 2018 and will transfer to Broadway on 2 October 2018.

Killology won Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theatre. Killology opened at the Royal Court in May 2017. Written by Gary Owen, the co-production with the Sherman Theatre was directed by Rachel O’Riordan.
