Critics Circle Theatre Award 2026: Royal Court Nominations

Nicola Walker (The Unbelievers) and Sophia Chetin Leuner (Porn Play) have been announced as nominees as part of the Critics Circle Theatre Award 2026.
Nicola, who starred in The Unbelievers, has been nominated as Best Actress. The Unbelievers ran in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from Friday 10 October until Saturday 29 November 2025; it was written by Nick Payne and directed by Marianne Elliott.
Sophia, who wrote Porn Play, has been nominated as Most Promising Playwright. Porn Play ran in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs from Thursday 6 November until Saturday 13 December 2025, and was directed by Josie Rouke.
