Leave a Legacy Gift In Your Will

Thank you so much for considering to leave a gift in your will to the Royal Court. Our legacy pledgers help to ensure this theatre’s future is as iconic as its past.

For many of our audiences, what makes the Royal Court special is the ground-breaking productions across our stages as well as our pioneering work in writers’ development here in the UK and around the world. For some, it’s also our innovative partnerships with young people and our community, working with tomorrow’s artists.

Whatever makes the Court special to you, leaving a gift to the theatre, however big or small, is an important way to help us sustain our work for future generations to come, enabling us to continue developing and engaging with the most exciting talent whilst keeping new writing at the forefront of theatre.

If you decide to leave a gift in your will, you can choose to support our work with a fixed amount or a share of the residue of your estate. As a registered charity (No. 231242), any gift left to the Royal Court in your will would not be subject to inheritance tax.

If you have included the Royal Court in your will, we would love to know so we can thank you for your generosity and keep you updated about our work. Please rest assured all information will be treated in confidence.

For professional and comprehensive advice when writing or altering your will, we recommend that you contact a solicitor to make the arrangements.

For further information about supporting the Court in this way, please contact Charlotte Christesen, Deputy Development Director, on 020 7565 5060 or email [email protected].
