Living Newspaper: Edition 2 On Demand
The second edition of Living Newspaper premiered online on Sunday 20 December and was available to watch until Sunday 27 December.
Each weekly edition of the newspaper has been created by both a collective of writers responsible for the front page and overall tone of the edition, and contributing writers offering individual pieces.
Edition 2 was written by Ryan Calais Cameron, Si’an Chen, Yuqun Fan, Tom Fowler, Nick Gill, Ruby Holder, Emteaz Hussain, Jammz, Yasmin Joseph, Anchuli Felicia King, Tife Kusoro, Mark Ravenhill, Ruby Thomas and Tom Wells. Si’an Chen’s contribution has been translated by Jeremy Tiang.
Each edition is urgent, responsive and fast – writers filed their pieces by Tuesday, actors rehearsed on Wednesday, and by Thursday we were filming the work, script-in-hand, hot off the press. Each edition includes performances relating to the moment we are in with local and global perspectives, longer form pieces, dating columns, a cartoon of the week, a weather room, agony aunts, horoscopes and much more.
