Royal Court Library

Set across three floors, the Royal Court Library houses hundreds of plays and theatre books (and counting).

They’re all available to browse and read in our building – entirely for free. 

The library also includes a computer point with access to the Living Archive, our digital catalogue of plays from the entire history of the Royal Court. 

The library is made possible by a generous donation from Concord Theatricals, who continue to donate new books every time they publish them. You can also browse & buy a huge range of past Royal Court playtexts, via the Concord Theatricals Online Shop.
