From filming and photography to conferences, away days, receptions, launches and award ceremonies, our range of spaces can be tailored to suit your needs.
When not in use for our year-round artistic programme, both the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs and Jerwood Theatre Upstairs are also available to hire.
Jerwood Theatre Downstairs
Our main auditorium seats up to 400 and offers a striking, traditional theatre setting for conferences, galas, talks and one-off events.
Please note: the Royal Court’s year-round artistic programme takes priority in the space. Availability is dependent on our production schedule — so get in touch to discuss your event.
Jerwood Theatre Upstairs
A flexible black box studio seating up to 90, the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs offers an adaptable space ready for workshops and readings to intimate performances or events.
Please note: our year-round artistic programme takes priority in this space. Availability, seating and stage layout will vary depending on the current production - so do get in touch to check what's possible.
Royal Court Bar
Sloane Square’s best kept secret. Tucked beneath the theatre, our in-house Bar & Kitchen offers a warm, welcoming retreat from the city. With a private, relaxed atmosphere and layers of theatrical history, it’s perfect for receptions, dining, and intimate performances.
The main space seats up to 150 for dinner or accommodates 250 standing. For smaller gatherings, The Ladies Room offers a cosy, atmospheric setting - ideal for drinks or private dining.
- Seated dining: up to 150 (90 standard covers, expandable to 150 with front-section tables)

The space can be hired for catered events or transformed into a performance venue with flexible layout options.
The Site
The Site is located adjacent to the main building. It offers a flexible space that accommodates 60 seated or 80 standing.

Rehearsal Room
Create exciting and inspiring new work in our spacious, sky-lit rehearsal room that accommodates 40 seated or up to 60 standing.

The Ladies Room
An intimate space tucked away at the rear of the Bar & Kitchen and surrounded by layers of history. Ideal space for entertainment of smaller groups, canapés receptions, working lunches and private dining.

- Seated for dining up to 12 covers
Meeting Room
Located on the fifth floor the Meeting Room is a full of natural light, panoramic views of London landmarks, and is a great space for your away day, presentation or meeting.
- Seated capacity up to 12 delegates with a board room style set up
Balcony Bar
With views over Sloane Square and access to a private balcony, the Balcony Bar is an open, airy space that brings the city inside. Ideal for receptions, intimate dinners (see header image) or private events.
