Why Write A Feminist Play?

Playwrights Abi Morgan and Nick Payne discuss the social, political and artistic imperatives of writing a play about feminism. Abi Morgan's The Mistress Contract runs in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs at the Royal Court from 30 January to 22 March. Her theatre credits include 27, Lovesong, Skinned, Splendour and Tiny Dynamite.
