Since 1989 the Royal Court Theatre has collaborated with emerging playwrights from all parts of the world. The International Playwrights group offers international playwrights an opportunity to develop a new play of their own alongside leading British writers, directors and performers.
This year’s programme sees writers from Argentina, China, Germany, South Africa and South Korea spending time here at the Royal Court, workshopping plays and testing out ideas.
