For Black Boys wins the B.O.L.T award for Special Recognition for Contribution to Theatre Award

For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Hue Gets Too Heavy by Ryan Calais Cameron has won the B.O.L.T award for Special Recognition for Contribution to Theatre, presented by Go Live Theatre Projects on 18 February 2024.

For Black Boys, in association with New Diorama Theatre and Nouveau Riche, has had sold out runs at the New Diorama Theatre, the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, and the Apollo theatre. It will open at the Garrick Theatre on the West End for nine weeks from 29 February until 4 May 2023.

The B.O.L.T (Best of London Theatre) Awards, sponsored by TodayTix, are led by young people aged 15-23 who create the categories and select nominees.
