Ako directed and co-wrote the short I’m in the corner with the bluebells which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won Best Director at the Mica Film Festival in Brazil. Ako also wrote and directed the short I Promise -winner of the Cineuropa Shorts / Filminute Audience Award.
