Emteaz Hussain is a playwright and performance poet. Emteaz is currently under commission to the Royal Court. Plays include: Social Distancing (Kali Theatre Solos/Online), Crongton Knights (Pilot/UK Tour) Sweet Cider (Tamasha/Arcola); Blood (Tamasha/UK tour); Outsiders (Pilot Theatre/UK tour); Etching (The Break/BBC3 Online). As a performance poet, she has toured with Transglobal Underground, Fundamental, Hustlers HC and as a backing poet with the Benjamin Zephaniah band. Emteaz works as a workshop practitioner in both statutory and community settings, specialising in pupil referral units.
