Lettie Precious is a British playwright, poet, author and artist from Sheffield currently living in London. They were a Royal Court / Kudos Fellow in 2019 and completed the BBC Writers’ Room 2019/20. Their short play THE GREY AREA was presented as part of Queer Upstairs at the Royal Court Theatre in 2019 and their contribution to MY WHITE BEST FRIEND (AND OTHER LETTERS LEFT UNSAID) was presented at the Royal Court in 2020. Their first full length play, THIS IS US is currently in development with Graeae. In 2021, Audible released their four part adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s ORLANDO, BBC3 released their episode OH TONI! for THE BREAK series 5, and BBC Radio4 released their radio drama REFLECTION for THE VERB.
