Natalia was born in Kiev in the Ukraine and
studied at the Moscow Literary Institute.
Two of her plays, DEMONS and GALKA
MOTALKO, have been staged in Moscow and
in the National Theatre of Latvia. GALKA
MOTALKO has been adapted for screen and
is currently being filmed in Moscow.
Her play,THE GRAINSTORE, written as the
result of a commission from the RSC, will be
staged in the Courtyard Theatre in Stratford
in 2009.THE KHOMENKO FAMILY
CHRONICLES was commissioned jointly by
the Royal Court and the BBC World
Service. It was first performed as a
rehearsed reading as part of SMALL TALK:
BIG PICTURE at the Royal Court in 2006.
