Tanika Gupta
Tanika Gupta is a playwright and screenwriter. For the Royal Court, her work includes Sugar Mummies and Catch [co-writer]. Other theatre credits include: A Doll’s House (Lyric); Hobson’s Choice (Royal Exchange, Manchester); Red Dust Road (Edinburgh International Festival/HOME, Manchester); Lions and Tigers (Globe). She was awarded with the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Drama for Lions and Tigers. Tanika has been writer-in-residence at the National and Soho Theatre, a fellow at the Playwright’s Studio in Glasgow, a writing tutor in Winchester Women’s prison, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
