debbie tucker green announced as a finalist for this year’s Susan Smith Blackburn Prize

The ten finalists for the annual Susan Smith Blackburn Prize have been announced, with debbie tucker green nominated for ear for eye.

The prestigious award is the oldest prize given to female playwrights and is now in its 41st year. Last year’s winner was Alice Birch for Anatomy of a Suicide, which premiered at the Royal Court.

The winner will be announced on March 4.

ear for eye was written and directed by debbie tucker green and was on in the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from Thursday 25 October 2018 – Saturday 24 November 2018.
