For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Hue Gets Too Heavy, by Ryan Calais Cameron, has been nominated in seven categories at the Black British Theatre Awards.

The nominations include: Best Director for Ryan Calais Cameron and Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu; Best Producer for Jasmyn Fisher-Ryner; Best Musical Director for John Pfumojena; Best Choreographer or Movement Director for Theophilus O. Bailey-Godson; Outstanding Performance in a Play for Emmanuel Akwafo; and Best Production Play.

For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Hue Gets Too Heavy, in association with New Diorama Theatre and Nouveau Riche, ran in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from Thursday 31 March 2022 to Saturday 7 May 2022.

The winners will be announced at the Black British Theatre Awards ceremony on Sunday 16 October 2022.
