This major new workshop project has been devised in collaboration with the British Council and the Qattan Foundation. It supports a small group of writers working intensively on new plays and new approaches to writing.
The group have worked with the playwrights EV Crowe and Dalia Taha across two workshops on the conception and development of new work. The first of these took place in Beit Jala in the West Bank during the summer of 2018. And most recently they have been joined by Royal Court Associate Director Lucy Morrison for a second intensive retreat in Beit Jala during early 2019.
