Katherine Soper nominated for Stage Debut Award for Best Writer

Katherine Soper has been nominated for Best Writer at the Stage Debut Awards for Wish List.

The Stage Debut Awards are the only UK awards that specifically recognise breakthrough theatre talent, celebrating emerging actors and creatives from around the country.

Directed by Matthew Xia, Wish List premiered at Manchester’s Royal Exchange in September 2016 before running in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs at the Royal Court in January 2017. It was the winner of the 2015 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting and marked the second year of the Royal Exchange and the Royal Court co-producing the Bruntwood prize-winning play.

The award winners will be announced at a ceremony on September 17.
