Carla Addyman
This is the door where I’m currently staying in Haggerston, London.
I wanted to become a Young Agitator because collaborating with people who share the same passions as I do is exciting. I am particularly interested in making work and having conversations about socio-economic diversity in the arts and how we can make-work in response to inequalities that are happening across the UK. I am looking forward to seeing how we can still inspire this change online and in a new way virtually. I am also looking forward to seeing how theatres are going to adapt themselves in the coming months, hopefully with their local communities being at the forefront of their work.
At the moment I am finding joy in connecting with my grandparents over FaceTime, as it is the first time they have had to use any type of technology that isn’t a house phone (I’m getting some interesting face angles that’s for sure).
