A collaboration between the Royal Court and Concord Theatricals, the In the Bookshop with… series provides a unique insight into the literary and theatrical inspirations behind Royal Court programmed playwrights.
In this episode, Alabanza picks out some of the plays and playwrights that have inspired, moved and impacted them.
Also coming up in this digital series are episodes featuring Ava Wong Davies, the writer of Graceland which opens in the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Upstairs on Thursday 9 February 2023; and Danny Lee Wynter, the writer of BLACK SUPERHERO which opens in the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs on Tuesday 14 March 2023.
