The Royal Court Theatre will be celebrating the life of writer Clare McIntyre with an afternoon of readings and performances from her work presented and performed by colleagues past and present.
For The Royal Court, Clare McIntyre wrote Low Level Panic, My Heart's a Suitcase and The Thickness of Skin. In addition I've Been Running and The Maths Tutor premiered at The Old Red Lion and Hampstead Theatre respectively. Clare wrote several radio plays for the BBC and also for television.
Contributors on the day will include Judith Amsenga, David Edgar, Mick Ford, David Hounslow, Lesley McIntyre, Nancy Meckler, Steph Nunn, Kathryn O'Reilly, Kath Pogson, Caroline Quentin, Max Stafford Clark, Lorna Stuart, Sylvestre Le Touzel, Timberlake Wertenbaker and others.
Tickets are free but there will be a voluntary collection for the Royal Court's Writer Development Fund.
