This is the first teaser from the real-time migration tracking project, Migration Watch and will be screened in the Royal Court Bar all day on Saturday 11 June.
In 2015, 1,015,078 refugees and migrants arrived in Europe by sea; many more are expected to attempt these journeys in 2016 and beyond.
Migration Watch tells the story of these journeys and takes a closer look at the issues behind events that are still unfolding. Bringing together real human stories, new writing and immersive data visualisations, Migration Watch is a 10-day interactive documentary following the fortunes of ten refugees travelling to and through Europe, in search of a better life.
