After the Spring: New Short Plays from the Arab World
Some of the Arab World's most exciting theatre voices respond to an extraordinary time in the region's history through specially commissioned short plays in translation. Writers include Mohammad Al Attar (Syria), Kamal Khalladi (Morocco), ArzÃ© Khodr (Lebanon), and Laila Soliman (Egypt), with additional material from Elyes Labidi (Tunisia). Directed by Simon Godwin International Rough Cuts: A Genesis Foundation Project Thursday's Rough Cut will be followed by a discussion chaired by Katharine Viner, Deputy Editor of The Guardian Friday's Rough Cut will be followed by a discussion with playwright David Greig and writer Mohammad Al Attar on the recent events in Syria.
