Summer 2007 was the wettest on record, leaving 48,000 homes flooded across England. One year on, over 2,200 households were still living in caravans.
This documentary theatre piece, performed in a caravan for an audience of just eight, hears word for word how everyday people cope in a crisis. Some have coped with laughter, some with anger, and some haven’t coped at all.
The Caravan won a Fringe First Award at last year’s Edinburgh Festival.
