Broadway Transfer of The Ferryman Announced

The Ferryman, written by Jez Butterworth and directed by Sam Mendes, will transfer to Broadway. The Ferryman was originally produced at the Royal Court Theatre by Sonia Friedman Productions, Neal Street Productions & Royal Court Theatre Productions.

The final performance for the West End run will take place at the Gielgud Theatre on 19 May 2018. Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street Productions will transfer The Ferryman to Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 W 45th St, New York) opening in October 2018.

The current company includes Rosalie Craig, Owen McDonnell and Justin Edwards. Further new cast members include Stella McCusker, Siân Thomas, Declan Conlon, Dean Ashton, Terence Keeley, Sean Delaney, Francis Mezza, Kevin Creedon, Laurie Kynaston and Saoirse-Monica Jackson. Catherine McCormack continues along with Charles Dale, Mark Lambert and Glenn Speers. The full company comprises 37 performers: 17 main adults, 7 covers, 12 children on rota and 1 baby.

The Ferryman in the West End is directed by Sam Mendes, designed by Rob Howell, lighting by Peter Mumford, sound and original music by Nick Powell, with the current cast directed by Tim Hoare.

Tickets for the Broadway production of The Ferryman will go on-sale on Monday 5 March through Telecharge.com.
