Royal Court Theatre to take MANWATCHING and Me & Robin Hood to Latitude 2017
Published on Mon 8 May 2017Seann Walsh is to perform MANWATCHING by an anonymous female writer at this year’s Latitude Festival.
MANWATCHING is a funny, frank, and occasionally explicit insight into heterosexual female desire, read out by a man. The show begins with a male comedian being given a script they have never seen before. They read the script out loud, sight unseen, in front of an audience. This is a show about what one woman thinks about when she thinks about sex with men.
It was first presented as a work-in-progress by the Royal Court and Paines Plough as part of the EARLIER/LATER performances at Roundabout, Summerhall at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2015.
MANWATCHING runs at the Royal Court 10 – 20 May 2017.

Shon Dale Jones will also be performing his new show Me & Robin Hood.
Commenting on the show, Shon Dale Jones said:
“Me & Robin Hood is my response to how the growing gap between the rich and the poor is effecting the way the world is being shaped. It’s my attempt to encourage us to imagine the lives of those living without the opportunities ‘we’ have.”
Me & Robin Hood will raise money for Street Child United World Cup 2018.
Royal Court performance dates to be announced.
Shon Dale Jones performed his show The Duke at the Royal Court in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs in 2016.
Latitude Festival is at Henham Park, Suffolk 13-16 July 2017.
