Mon 18 Mar 2024

Join Avalon for an evening of award-winning comedy with 4 acclaimed comedians, each doing a 30 minute set in this 4-for-1 evening of laughs and live comedy.

Garrett Millerick:

A phenomenal stand-up comic, Garrett’s breakout television performance was on the hit US late-night talk show Conan (TBS).

His live show Sunflower became one of the best reviewed and most talked about shows of 2018, both at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and subsequently at London’s Soho Theatre. The show saw packed houses for both runs and regularly added shows to cope with demand. The show was Time Out London’s No.1 Comedy Pick for February 2019, and saw Garrett receive a nomination for ‘Breakthrough Act’ at the 2019 Chortle Awards.

His new show Just Trying to Help was nominated for best show at the Leicester Comedy Festival and also received critical acclaim at the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, being described as “a performance of rare force and intensity that overpowers his audience…It’s a travesty that he’s not much better known outside the comedy cognoscenti” (★★★★1/2, Chortle). The show later transferred to the Soho Theatre and is currently touring across the UK.

Steve Bugeja: Shiny

Loads of ‘experts’ will tell you how to achieve your dreams. Well ignore them, Steve achieved his dream of creating a sitcom, one that people actually watched on TV, it even featured on The One Show! Come find out whether it was worth it…or not. Star and co-creator of ITV2’s Buffering, as seen on Zoe Ball On Sunday (ITV1), Love Island Aftersun (ITV2) and The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One). ‘Hilarious and compelling storytelling’ Scotsman  ‘The punchlines come thick and fast, he makes the art of stand-up comedy look effortless’ Ed Fest Mag.

Bella Hull

Bella Hull is a London-based stand-up comedian and writer and one of the UK’s most exciting young comedians.

In 2022, Bella brought her debut hour, Babycakes, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and subsequently to London’s Soho Theatre to wide acclaim. She regularly plays to sell-out crowds across the UK and her TV appearances include BBC’s Stand Up for Live Comedy, ITV’s The Stand Up Sketch Show and Comedy Central Live. She also co-hosts the Last Night Ever podcast with Jacob Hawley.

As a writer, Bella is working on a script commission with the BBC and her writing has been featured on BBC Radio 4’s Newsjack, Flux Magazine and she is the advice columnist for Quadra magazine.

Huge Davies

Huge Davies (Cats Does Countdown & Roast Battle) has been a professional musical comedian for 5 years and so far performed no music or jokes. This is the music show.

Huge Davies was nominated for the Edinburgh Best Newcomer Award for his first show ‘The Carpark’ and his second show ‘Whodunnit’ received multiple five star reviews. He is the creator and star of the Channel 4 sitcom ‘The Artists’ and has been seen on Hypothetical, Jonathan Ross, Harry Hill, Live at the Comedy Store and Jools Holland.
