Fulham Brass Band

Formed in 1895, Fulham Brass Band has a long history of music-making and strong links with the community. Its 25-strong team plays an exciting mix of events such as high profile television appearances, including Britain’s Got Talent, Big Brother, BBC Breakfast and This Morning, alongside the traditional diary of community engagements and competitions. A small ensemble from the group appears in Disney’s Christopher Robin, starring Ewan McGregor, out this summer.

As one of the most central London amateur brass bands, its friendly, sociable and ambitious team has welcomed players from all over the world and has become the playing ‘home’ for many people moving to the Capital to work or study. In recent years, the band has gone from strength to strength, climbing the banding divisions and is now performing at the highest level in its 123-year history. As well as many competition achievements, the band has enjoyed collaborations with principal players from the Royal Scottish National and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras.
