We are delighted to offer Living Newspaper online and bring the Royal Court experience to you at home.
Each weekly online edition will be delivered to you over 5 days – with new stories shared daily.
Watch new performances every week day or, if you’d prefer, watch the complete edition over the weekend. It will then be available for another full week so, like the weekend papers, you can catchup on the news and supplements when it best suits you.
We hope that wherever you are in the world, you will be able to join us and experience Living Newspaper in a time zone and setting that is most convenient for you.

When should I log in to my account to start watching the livestream?
Each edition will livestream ‘The Front Page’ directly from the Royal Court Theatre at 5.30pm (GMT) on Monday.
We recommend joining the Zoom link at least 15 minutes before the live stream begins at 5.30pm.
You can use this countdown time to get set up and logged in, as well as gather any snacks, drinks, or anything else you need to feel comfortable.
I have bought several tickets for my friends/family using my account – can other people log in my account to use their ticket and watch?
Yes.
How do I watch Living Newspaper?
Living Newspaper begins on Mondays at 5.30pm (except Edition 4 which will be released on Tuesday 6th April after the Bank Holiday weekend) with ‘The Front Page’ performance livestreamed on Zoom. To watch this livestream, you will need to have booked your ticket by 5pm and have Zoom installed and have a Zoom account. The link to the livestream performance will be shared via email with ticket holders who have booked before 5pm on Monday.
Following the livestream at the beginning of the week, performances from that edition of Living Newspaper will be shared daily on the Living Newspaper Player. New videos will be available to watch Monday-Friday from 2pm each day.
If you are a ticket holder and have opted to receive emails from the Royal Court Theatre, we will share information with you each day about the new performances that have been added and are available to watch.
It will be available to watch for two weeks and you can buy a ticket for each Living Newspaper any time during the two week period and catchup on all released content.
How do I access Living Newspaper Player?
Living Newspaper Player is a website that can be accessed using internet browsers – we recommend that you access Living Newspaper Player on Google Chrome.
To access an edition of Living Newspaper, you must have bought a ticket. You will be required to log into your account to watch the videos.
To sign into your account on the Living Newspaper Player, please use the same email address and password you used to buy your ticket. You can access your account and log in by clicking the Sign In link in the grey bar at the top right of the page.
Once you are logged in, you will be able to access the Edition you have booked for.
Clicking the grey Royal Court logo at the top of the page will take you back to the Living Newspaper player homepage.
How do I reset my password?
You will need a password to log in to your account. If you did not create a password when you booked your tickets, or have forgotten your password, you can reset it by going to the Sign In page and clicking ‘Forgotten your password? Reset here’.
Help, I can’t hear anything!
Please check that the video is not muted. If the video is muted, the volume icon in the video taskbar will display the speaker icon with a line through it.
To unmute the video, click the speaker icon and slide the volume dial to your desired volume.
If you still cannot hear any sound after adjusting the speaker icon, please check your device settings.
Help, my video is frozen!
If your video freezes or has issues buffering, try refreshing the page.
Our player is designed to give you the highest video quality that’s available for your internet connection, but sometimes you might want to change the quality yourself if you encounter issues. If you experience video buffering or freezing, lowering the video quality will help to give a smooth playback.
To change the quality, click on the cog in the bottom right corner of the player.
Next click on “Quality” and select your preference.
The higher the number the better the picture quality, and the lower the number the smoother the playback will be.For slower internet connections or if you have buffering issues, we recommend selecting “240p”.
Once a lower playback has been selected, click the cog again to close the menu.
How can I speak with the Royal Court team?
If you need to speak with someone from the Royal Court Theatre please contact us at boxoffice@royalcourttheatre.com or using the chat box on this page. These channels are monitored between 10am-6pm GMT and we are unable to respond to enquiries outside of these hours.
How long do I have to watch the edition?
Each edition is available to watch over a two week period. Each edition begins on Monday at 5.30pm and is available to watch until the following Sunday at 11.59pm.
How can I watch as a group?

Access information
Each edition of Living Newspaper will be accessible via captions, audio description, and story and sensory synopses. These are available to all bookers when they log in to the Living Newspaper Player.
