Join us for an exciting journey through the rooms and passages of the Bussey Building to discover hidden stories and colourful characters. The show has been devised and performed by local young people, ages 14-30, taking part in the Five Day Play Project at the Royal Court’s Theatre Local.

Theatre Local will host three free panel discussions this summer at the Bussey Building in Peckham.

Join us for our second PECKHAM TALK:

Peckham – the new Cultural Capital?
Thursday 28 June, 7pm

Community activist and Youth Leader of Peckham Shed Theatre Company Melissa Jane Knight will be joined by an invited panel to discuss how Peckham has become a key cultural hub in London.

The Royal Court’s very own Diversity Associate and Playwriting Tutor Ola Animashawun hosts the final panel discussion at Theatre Local offering tips and advice on how to turn your idea into a story, specifically aimed towards creative writing and playwriting.
